WHAT ISSUES WERE YOU HAVING BEFORE CONTACTING NETWORK PEOPLE?
The city had one proprietary relationship with a software developer who was also maintaining the network. It was a good solution when all the departments were in one building, but that changed with our new construction and expansion. Relying on one person to develop and maintain it was difficult.
WHAT MADE YOU SELECT NETWORK PEOPLE?
Network People bid on the city website and came in as the low bidder. Further conversations about the city’s IT infrastructure and a network assessment revealed the availability of much more comprehensive services and solutions.
WHAT IS IT LIKE WORKING WITH NETWORK PEOPLE?
The word that the city uses to describe Network People is “comprehensive.” Even if a small request is being made, everyone on the Network People team is aware of the background, and the solution is more comprehensive. The members of the Network People team are all fantastic. It is very easy to share our priorities with them and convey what is important in the long run. Network People came on board during the construction and joined in like our own employees, taking direction, and providing expertise.
The city staff has a great working relationship with Network People.
The city wasn’t fully aware of our own needs. Network People helped set new expectations of how the IT infrastructure should be established and what the important and immediate needs were. The issues were bigger than we realized. A city-wide system was much more complex than what it initially appeared to be. Network People deserves credit for coming up with a long-term, turn-key solution of hardware replacement and on-site and remote ActivelT. The staff of Network People, whether they are technical or any other aspect of the business, are the best, from the top on down.
