Finally useful: Apple maps for small business

Apple maps have had a rocky start, but Tim Cook has stayed focused on improving this service.  Apple now has something great for all small business owners.

Maps Connect ( is a new service that lets any US company add or edit their location and add profiles such as Facebook, Yelp, Twitter or company website. This is a manual process for all users, but once you log in to the website, everything is pretty simple.

Another great option you’ll have is to sign up for iBeacon.  But as of now, the business has to have at least a million visitors per year to qualify. This will be for the initial push and then Apple has said they will expand to lower-traffic businesses. This simple feature has really made Apple Maps better.  Hopefully, they will continue to expand and improve.
